    1858 (June 22): Great Britain 1857 1 d. red-brown, perf. 14 used with 1856 6 d. lilac tied to 1858 cover  with complete contents from Malta to London (Fanshawe correspondence) via Marseilles (paying the under ¼ ounce rate), tied by four strikes of the "M" obliterator. Reverse with single ring 'Malta' cds in red (June 26) of despatch. Minor imperfections but an attractive usage.
