    1874 (Oct 17): Great Britain 1867 9 d. straw pl. 4, a horizontal pair used on 1874 cover from Coquimbo (imprinted 'Ferro-Carril de Coquimbo' on reverse) to Sutton, Surrey endorsed 'via Panama' tied by fine strike of "C40" obliterator with 'Coquimbo' cds alongside (Oct 17, code A inverted). Reverse with British P.O. 'Callao' transit cds (Oct 27) and Sutton arrival cds (Nov 28) in black.
