    1865 (Dec 11): Great Britain 1864/79 1 d. red pl. 181, 1865 4 d. vermilion pl. 7, 1865 6 d. lilac pl. 5 and 1865 1 s. green pl. 4, all used on 1865 entire letter from San Juan to Madrid, Spain tied by two bold strikes of the "C61" obliterator in black. 'London / Paid' transit datestamp at right (Dec 30) and manuscript '4' accountancy marking on front, reverse with 'Porto-Rico' despatch cds (Dec 11) and Madrid arrival (Jan 2, 1866). A beautiful and rare entire, there being just three four colour frankings from San Juan recorded and this is undoubtedly the finest. Certs.
