    1876 (Jan 11): Great Britain 1864 1 d. red pl. 160, a horizontal strip of four used on 1876 cover from Ponce to New York endorsed 'via St. Thomas', heavily tied by "F88" obliterator, with 'Ponce - Porto Rico / Paid' cds below (Jan 11) in black and circular 'New York / Due 5 Cts.' datestamp of receipt (Jan 24) at right. Reverse with 'St. Thomas' British P.O. transit (Jan 13). A scarce cover.rn
