    1859 (Feb 10): Great Britain 1857 1 d. red, perf. 14, two examples, one applied slightly off the edge of the cover, used with 4 d. rose in a horizontal strip of three, first stamp with clipped corner, all tied to 1859 cover endorsed 'Per Royal Mail Steamer' from Kingstown to the Duke of Polignac in Paris by five strikes of the "A10" obliterator in black. Reverse with single ring ST. VINCENT cds (Feb 10), London transit cds (March 4) where struck with two line INSUFFICIENTLY / STAMPED in black but deleted in manuscript and by Calais transit cds as fully paid.
