    Typewriter Issue, Thin Paper. Initialled by Lieutenant Commander H. Pirie-Gordon RNVR 1916 (May 7): 1 d. red, on thin horizontally laid paper, a fine unused example with large margins all round, initialled in red, minor aging but with variety "ONR" for ONE in ONE PENNY, with double dots at lower left corner, unused as issued.
