    1902 (April 3): De La Rue "Appendix" sheet for Edward VII definitive issue, with Imperforate Colour Trials (6) and proposed values in manuscript alongside with 1 s. in black & violet (2d.), 1 s. in dull green and violet (2s.) both these signed off as accepted by Sir William Mercer on 12 April, 1902; together with four other imperforate colour combinations not required: 1 s. in purple & red-brown, 1 s. purple & orange, 1 d. in dull green & orange and 1 d. in dull green & brown; sheet divided for display, illustrated in "The De La Rue Collection" edited by Frank Walton RDP on page 5549.
