    1881: Provisional ½ d. surcharged in red on vertical half of 6 d. bright green, right half, perf. 12 at left, used on 1895 local cover tied by 'Kingstown / St. Vincent' cds (april 18) with information strike at left. Flap missing, central file fold, philatelic but nevertheless very scarce. Illustrated in 'St. Vincent' by Pierce, Messenger & Lowe on page 55.
