    Colour Changes, wmk. Crown CC 1864/76: (4 d.) yellow, (6 d.) bright violet and (1 s.) orange, wmk. Crown CC, perf. 12½, all applied to piece dated May 13 (1870) from the De La Rue archive day-book, each stamp being from position 240 on the sheet and showing the second major 're-entry' (note amongst other points the hyphen in LU-CIA). This piece illustrated in 'The De La Rue Collection' edited by Frank Walton RDP on page 5511. Unique and exceptional.
