    1873/77: Great Britain 1 s. green pl. 8, a horizontal pair used on 1873 cover to Newport, Rhode Island, USA tied by "Gibraltar / A26" duplexes (Sept 27), with 'London / Paid' transit in red (Oct 8) and faint 'New York / Paid All' datestamp in red at top. The adhesives and envelope with minor imperfections but a scarce usage.
