    1865: ROPiT 2 pi. blue & rose, horizontal network, a fine four margined example used on cover endorsed 'pr. Vap. Russe' to Beirut tied by 785 numeral in blue, the reverse with ROPiT ALEXANDRIA Cyrillic datestamp on despatch in blue and ROPiT / BEIRUT Cyrillic arrival cds (April 30) in blue. The cover with weak file folds but opens well for Exhibit display. Cert. Scheller (2007).
