    1901 (March 18): ¼ d. on 1 s. bluish-grey, an unused example surcharged ONE / FARTHING in black, variety weak original "F" in FARTHING inserted by handstamp, fresh and very fine, small splash of ink on reverse probably from the hand-stamp ink, part og. A magnificent example of this great rarity: just ten examples are recorded of which just eight are unused, one of which is housed in the Collection of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Cert.
