    Recess by Perkins Bacon 1858: 6 d. pale rose-red, a used example with clear to large margins all round, lightly tied to 1860 cover to London endorsed 'p.Mail' by partial strike of "1" obliterator with 'Barbadoes' double arc cds on reverse (Dec 10). 'London / Paid' arrival cds (Jan 1, 1861) in red on obverse. Cover with some edge imperfections and a closed tear on flap but a rare stamp on letter.
