    Recess by Perkins Bacon 1855/58: (1 d.) blue on white paper, good to large margins all round, used on 1857 cover, no side flaps, to St. Lucia endorsed 'p.Mail' at left tied by "1" numeral with manuscript '4' (pence) Ship fee alongside. Reverse with single ring (1) datestamp and double arc "Barbadoes" cds of despatch (Nov 27) and St. Lucia arrival (Nov 28) in black. Spike hole in front panel but a fine cover.
