    Postage due 1886 (May 9): Underpaid Cover from Boston to Alexandria bearing Washington 2 c., tied by Boston machine cancellation, taxed with '15' cents, another Boston despatch cds (May 11) alongside, bearing a single 10 pa. and a pair 20 pa. postage due, tied by Alexandria (May 28) cds, reverse with Brindisi transit cds.
