    Recess by Perkins Bacon 1855/58: (½ d.) yellow-green on white paper, the 1857 printing, an unused block of nine, marginal from left of sheet, large margins all round, vibrant typically cloudy colour associated with this printing, fresh and very fine, large part or unmounted og. We can trace just two other blocks of this size, one ex Burrus and the other, the former block of twelve in the Joseph Hackmey collection which is separated into a block of four and a block of eight. Delightful and of great rarity. Cert.
