    Recess by Perkins Bacon 1852/55: (2 d.) greyish slate, a vertical bisect, left half, used on 1854 cover from Bridgetown to Grenada endorsed 'pr. Mail' at lower left tied by "1" numeral obliterator in black with manuscript '4' ship rate at left. Reverse with single ring (1) and double arc 'Barbadoes' datestamp (Sept 5) and double arc Grenada arrival datestamp. File fold well away from the adhesive, a rare and fine cover. Cert.
