    Recess by Perkins Bacon 1852/55: (1 d.) blue, a used example with large margins all round and portion of adjoining stamp at right, small scissor cut in margin only, on 1855 cover to Bridgetown tied by bold strike of "4" numeral obliterator of St. George Parish. Corresponding single ring "JA 23 / 1854 / 4" datestamp displaying well on flap and Bridgetown (1) arrival datestamp of same day. Some mathematical doodling on front and back of envelope but an extremely rare first issue inland usage.
