    1882 (March 21): £ 5 orange on blued paper, wmk. Anchor, lettered AD, an unused example, overprinted SPECIMEN (Type 9) in black, marginal from left of sheet and perforated through selvedge, with lightest of vertical gum bends which would add to the conjecture of John Horsey who states that "some Specimens were created from salvaged sheets" - see John Horsey "The £5 Orange" pages 129-130 who illustrates an example from right of sheet perforated through selvedge.
