    1883 (Jan 1): 6 d. on 6 d. lilac, Plate 18, wmk. Crown, lettered OK, a used example on 1884 cover tied by "Keith / 192" duplex in black (May 20), addressed to "Dr & Mrs Scott, Livingstonia Mission, Bandawe Lake Nyassa, Quellimane, Eastern Central Africa". The cover with slight flap fault but an extraordinary destination to a Mission named after perhaps the Century's most famous explorer - the Bandawe Livingstonia Mission being the first mission station in Malawi Gi K8B = £ 425.rnNote: Dr. Clement Scott arrived 1881 at Livingstonia Mission to take charge of Blantyre Mission.
