    1862 (April): 3 d. deep rose, pl. 2, lettered QC, overprinted SPECIMEN (Type 5) in black, applied at top of Postal Notice alongside "Circular to Postmasters who obliterate Postage Stamps", headed NEW POSTAGE STAMPS OF THE VALUE OF THREEPENCE, stating "On, 1st May next and thenceforth, Postage Stamps of the value of Threepence will be issued..." with "Rowland Hill, Secretary" at base.
