    1840: 1 d. grey-black, plate 2, lettered EB, a used example with good to large margins all round, from the worn plate, cancelled by BURFORD double arc cds in black '1841 / JU 11' contrary to regulations, also tied by red Maltese Cross probably in Oxford in transit.
