    British Field Force in Salonica 1916 (Feb-March): "Levant' on ½ d. green, an unused vertical strip of three, central stamp with variety "Overprint Double", fresh and very fine appearance with just 12 examples possible. Unused without gum (due to provenance, the Marquess of Bute's collection was subjected to water damage due to a German air raid in 1940). Exceptional and extremely rare. Cert.
