    1869: King Carol 'without beard', interesting plating study and collection of all five values with cancellation and shades interest, incl. 5 b. yellow/orange, five unused, ten used singles, one with part Milano strikes and a double franking on cover front, 10 b. blue in the dark and light shade, three unused singles, an unused block of four, 38 used or on piece, a mixed franking with 25 b. orange & blue on piece, a part cover with two diff. shades, 15 b. in the rare rose shade shade on vertically laid paper unused, in red/vermillion shade 22 used or on piece, a used pair, and a mixed frankung with 25 b. orange & blue on piece, 25 b. orange and blue, an unused block of four, 15 used or on piece, an used pair and strip of four with transfer positions 3-4-1-2, and two single frankings on covers to Vienna, 50 b. in light- or dark-blue & red, two unused and 24 cancelled with a large variety of postmarks. A fine lot, stamps mostly with good to large margins.
