    1750 (Nov. 15): Pope Benedict XIV (Latin: Benedictus XIV 1675 – 1758), born Prospero Lorenzo Lambertini, was head of the Catholic Church from 17 August 1740 to his death in 1758, Papal bull, fine ornamental heading and calligraphic writing on large parchment with complete lead seal attached by knotted silk rope, addressed to the Archbishop in Ravenna.
