    Isle of Man 1841: 1 d. red-brown on blued, a fine example used on 1847 cover (with complete contents) to Birmingham tied by "407" Douglas, Isle of Man obliterator in black with fine strike below the adhesive. Oval cachet at left "CRESCENT HOTEL / Douglas / ISLE OF MAN" in blue with the letter also written from the Hotel. A fine and unusual entire.
