    Beirut 1837/1901: Collection 13 covers from the French Levant post office in Beirut incl. 1846 prepaid entire from Tripoli to Lyon with Beyrouth cds, the rare type with 'h' and indentation, 1865 triple colour franking Napoléon perforated by Anchor lozenge with ship cds CYDNUS alongside, 1872 two singles 40 c. Siège with Anchor lozenge and octogonal 'Beyrouth / Paquebot' datestamp, 1857 two colour franking with Petits Chiffres '3706' cancellation, three covers with diff. frankings and Gros Chiffres '5082' cancellation, early cancellation of Cérès 30 c. with cds in April 1876, first month of usage for that purpose, three diff. 25 c. foreign rate Sage frankings 1879/84, as well as one stationery postcard and a picture postcard.
