    1859/60: 3 d. blue, no wmk., perf. 14, a horizontal pair used on 1866 wrapper to Dr. Bleek in Cape Town, tied by '1' numeral obliterators in black. 'Pietermaritzburg / Natal' cds below and reverse with 'Cape Town / Cape Colony' cds (March 13) of receipt. Scarce late usage of the issue, the writing appears to be that of Bishop Colenso.
