    Second Printing. Overprinted with small "G" 1879: Cape 4 d. dull blue optd. "G" in black, Type 17, used on 1880 cover, with complete contents dated April 3, to Emil Burmester in Cape Town tied by KIMBERLEY datestamp in black. 'Cape Town / Cape Colony' arrival cds (April 9) alongside. The writer states he is enclosing "second halves of banknote C7967, C7910 and C9557 each £5. I received your telegram yesterday, advert appeared this morning in the 'Advertiser' on Monday in 'Independent'. Shall telegraph when anything turns up". Some minor aging on perforations, edge wear and file fold but a scarce cover.
