    Second Printing. Overprinted with small 'G' 1879: Cape 4 d. blue, optd. "G", Type 17, used on 1880 cover, with original contents, to Cape Town tied by double arc KIMBERLEY datestamp (Aug 12) in black, with fine 'Cape Town / Cape Colony' cds of arrival (Aug 17) alongside. Small closed tear at top and base of envelope but a fine and rare in-period franking.
