    Overprinted with small "G" in 2 Types 1878 (June): Cape 4 d. dull blue optd. italic "G" in black, Type 16, used on 1878 cover, with complete contents dated July 22, to Emil Burmester in Cape Town tied by KIMBERLEY datestamp in black (July 23) with further strike at right. 'Cape Town / Cape Colony' arrival cds (July 30) at right. Some minor aging on perforations and slight closed tear at top of envelope but a scarce cover.
