    Overprinted with small 'G' in 2 Types 1878 (June): Cape ½ d. grey-black, wmk. CC, optd. upright "G" in red, variety "Overprint Inverted", an extraordinary complete unused pane of 60 from the lower right pane, with full COLONIES watermark in margin at top, one stamp with small closed tear and lower row and margin at base with minor horizontal bends, and with printer's guide lines and Serial Number 43. The block with varieties of the overprint throughout largely caused by under-inking. Fresh and very fine, with large part og. and the majority unmounted og. A remarkable and rare surviving multiple Gi = £ 1'740+.
