TRANSIT CO. / VIRGIN BAY" circular datestamp Central American Transit Co.) in black (Jan 20), slightly over-scored by STEAMSHIP /10 due marking of arrival (the 'Golden Rule' left San Juan del Norte and arrived in New York on February 10, 1865). Mirnor flap tear on reverse of a very rare cover.
