    1939: VIII Pan-American Congress for Children, unissued Airmail isssue dated Oct 1939, the Large Format sunken Die Proofs (9) on cards (228 x 152 mm.) by the American Banknote Co., engraved for proposed 10 c. scarlet (file number '79998' at top), 15 c. in deep violet ('70999'), 25 c. ultramarine ('80000', with security punch-hole), 35 c. yellow-brown ('80001'), 60 c. blue-green ('80002'), 75 c. olive-green ('80003'), 1 col 35 c. vermilion ('80004'), 5 col. purple-brown ('80005') and 10 col. in magenta ('80006'). A splendid and a most attractive set.
