Cañas 4 c. scarlet engraved Large Format Die Proof by the American Banknote Co., in close to the completed design inset on card (152 x 226 mm.) printed in close to, but somewhat deeper than issued colour but lacking some minor shading details in and around the eyes. The card with pinholes at edges but exceptional and rare Gi 79.
