    Confederation 1858 (May 1): 5 c. red, a used example with clear to good margins all round, tied to 1861 entire letter from Salta to Calama, Bolivia addressed "Para remitir al Sr. D. Carlos Giarme - Atacama", tied by framed "SALTA / FRANCA" handstamp in black. Reverse with "POTOSI" transit handstamp in blue. Ink date by previous collector at upper right.
