    British Post Office 1855 (Aug 1): Entire letter from Buenos Aires to Cadiz, endorsed 'pr. Canarias' at top, struck with 'Buenos-Ayres' British P.O. cds on reverse (Aug 2) and, on front by fine strike of "PAID AT BUENOS AYRES" Crown Circle handstamp in black with manuscript prepayment '1/-' in red ink at left. Disinfected by slits and reverse with 'Santa Cruz de Canarias' cds (Sept 4) in red and charged wih circular '4R' in same ink, Cadiz arrival cds (Sept 28) and charged at '8R' due in blue. A fine and attractive entire Scott = $ 900.
