    New Guinea, Stamps of Australia overprinted 1919: Registered Picture Postcard from Rabaul to Würzburg, Germany, forwarded to Speyer, bearing fifth setting Kangaroo 6 d. ultramarine, tied by faint RABAUL cds with black on white registration label and private "Nachgesandt" forwarding handstamp alongside, front in addition with Würzburg transit and Stettin (-3.9.21 5-6) arrival cds. The postcard rate was 2 d. + 3 d. registration, this card overpaid by 1 d., an extremely rare usage.
