    New Guinea, Stamps of Australia overprinted 1915/16: Registered Cover from Rabaul to La Hague, Netherlands, forwarded to Rekum bearing KGV 1 d. carmine-red as well as Kangaroo 2 d. grey and 3 d. yellow-olive with type c ovpt, tied by RABAUL (28 AP 19) cds's to envelope with black on white registration label alongside, reverse with Sydney transit (9 JE 19) and Gravenhage (29 XII 19) transit cds's. A fine and fresh three-colour franking.
