    1848: Embossed 1 s. green, Die 1, a vertical pair with large to touched margins, lower stamp showing adjoining stamps at left and at base, tied to 1853 cover endorsed 'pr. Arabia' (Cunard Steamer) to New York by '466' Liverpool obliterators. Reverse with "Liverpool / F.R.H." (Floating Receiving House) datestamp (Feb 12) in greenish ink. Obverse with curved PAID and '5 / CENTS' US credit mark in red. A most attractive cover Gi = £ 1'900.
