    1840: Mulready 1 d. black letter-sheet, Stereo A1, a used example from Windsor to London at double rate, Britannia cancelled by bold Maltese Cross in black, up-rated for the double rate by 1841 1 d. red-brown on blued, plate 8, lettered EJ, tied by crisp Maltese Cross in black. Reverse with 'Windsor' double arc cds in black (May 23) and London arrival cds in red (May 24). File fold not affecting the fine appearance. Signed Ferchenbauer.
