    Incoming Mail from Great Britain 1865: 3 d. rose pl. 4 and 6 d. lilac pl. 6, wmk. Emblems, used on cover endorsed 'via Belgium' to Bucharest with AUS ENGLAND PER AACHEN / FRANCO in blue on front and two strikes of HERMANNSTADT transit cds's, flap missing but an attractive 9 d. rate for a ½ ounce cover; and 1868 entire letter at 1/2 d. (double the single rate of 7 d. from March 1867) endorsed 'via Ostend' franked by 1858/79 2 d. blue pl. 9 and 1865/67 4 d. vermilion pl. 9 (3) all tied by Manchester duplexes (Aug 31) with Aachen and Vienna transits and BUKAREST Austrian P.O. arrival (7/9). A few minor imperfections but a scarce pairing.
