    Incoming Mail from Great Britain 1867: Covers (2), one to Ibraila and the other to Ploesti / Botuschan, both carried at the double rate of 1/2 d. introduced on 20 March 1867 and each endorsed 'via Ostend'; with cover to Braila franked 1858/79 2 d. blue pl. 9 and defective 1 s. green pl. 4 used from Manchester via Aachen with Austrian P.O. JBRAILA arrival (23/9); second cover with same franking tied by '498' obliterators and by Austrian P.O. cds of PLOJESTIE (20/8) arrival - this cover with transits of Aachen, Pesth and Hermannstadt on faulty reverse. A scarce pair.
