    Canea / Xania 1895: 1 pi. on 10 kr. ultramarine & black, a vertical pair used on 1895 registered cover from Canea to Paris (the address entirely in Greek) tied by bold strike of circular CANEA datestamp (7/6) in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 534). The addressee not found in Paris (12/6) and the cover struck with eight datestamps on reverse and manuscript 'à traduire' and 'Non Reclamé' in black. Manuscript 'Canea' in red and cover returned to sender. Unusual cover sensibly opened for Exhibit display.
