    Canea / Xania 1867/74: 10 s. blue, fine printing, used on 1880 cover from Canea to Constantinople tied by bold strike of circular CANEA datestamp (16/1) in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 534) with 'Costantinopoli / Lloyd' arrival on reverse (23/1) in black (signed Ferchenbauer); matched with 1877 double rate cover from same correspondence with a pair of 10 s. similarly tied and a further 1881 cover franked by 5 s red. pair. A fine and scarce trio.
