    Canea / Xania 1866c.: Prepaid entire letter from Canea to Plattsburgh, New York, USA struck with two line CANEA / 6. OTT datestamp in blue (Tchilinghirian fig. 533) with FRANCA below, prepaid with '20/69' (kreuzer) in manuscript on reverse in blue crayon (20 kr. to Lloyd, 69 kr. for Transatlantic crossing). Circular 'Aachen / Paid 23 Cents' in red (20/10) and carried on US steamer with '55' (cents) credit in red crayon on front and New York Exchange Office marking 'N.YORK AM. PKT / 30 PAID' in red (Nov 10). An exceptional and rare usage.
