    Candia / Heraklion 1884: 5 s. red on buff postal stationery card used from Candia to Vienna via Lloyd Office in Constantinople, cancelled by superb strike of circular CANDIA three line 'baton' datestamp (29/11) in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 544). Vienna arrival cds at left. The card a tad soiled and with ironed bend but a lovely strike in the first few months of use.
