    Candia / Heraklion 1883: 10 s. ultramarine & black, perf. 9½, used on 1885 cover from Candia to Vienna via Lloyd Office in Constantinople, cancelled by superb strike of circular CANDIA three line 'baton' datestamp (19/4) in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 544). Reverse with CONSTANTINOPLE / LLOYD cds (24/4) and Vienna arrival cds. Scarce so fine: sold with further pair of same stamp with same cancel (1/3/85).
