    Candia / Heraklion 1863: Prepaid cover (second sheet of entire letter) from Candia to Syros, Greece struck with circular CANDIA datestamp (13/4) in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 542) with rare FRANCO straight line handstamp adjacent, crossed to denote prepayment with pencil '10' soldi on reverse. Charged double rate on arrival with overlapping Large Hermes 1862/67 Athens 20 l. blue with good margins all round, tied by 'Syros' cds (3/4j) in black. File fold away from adhesives, a scarce cover.
