    1861: Paid and unpaid covers, both addressed to the Vice-Consul of the Netherlands in Andrinople, with circa 1861 cover sent unpaid with CONSTANTINOPEL datestamp (22/3) in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 387) and charged '20' (soldi) due on arrival showing Dutch Consular seal in black on reverse; 1861 prepaid cover with FRANCO and wreathed CONSTANTINOPEL datestamp (12/6) in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 385) with reverse showing manuscript '3' (piastres) prepaid. A fine and unusual pair.
